LENS: the Learning Network on Sustainability. Network for curricula development
on Design for Sustainability focused on Product-Service System. (2006-2010)
The project is an action of curriculum development and human resources development,
in the area of industrial design and sustainable development (Design for Sustainability
and PSS).
Financed by the European Commission, Asia Links programme, EC bi-regional programme,
EuropAid. Partnership with high education institutions in The Netherlands,
Finland, India, Thailand and China.
Project approved by the European Commission to be started in the coming months.
Coordinated by Politecnico di Milano, Industrial Design Dept.

LOLA (Looking for Likely Alternatives). (2007-2008)
The project is a pedagogical tool for teachers and students of secondary schools
in Europe which assists them in the process of identifying, evaluating and
documenting cases of social innovation towards sustainable lifestyles/ By
giving light to this kind of grass-root innovation, the pupils share knowledge
and develop a vision of the future and how to change our society in a positive
way, moving it in a new and more sustainable direction.

CCSL: Creative Communities for Sustainable Lifestyles (2006-2007)
Creative Communities for Sustainable Lifestyles (CCSL) project deals with
creativity and sustainable lifestyles, discussing the potentialities of collaborative
everyday life creativity (the creative communities) in generating and diffusing
new and more sustainable ways of living in the urban environments of emerging
countries, with a focus on Brazil, India and China. The project includes collection
of case studies in the 3 countries, seminars and workshops with local civil
society organisations.
Project under the Task Force on Sustainable Lifestyles in the framework of
the Marrakech Process, led by UNEP and UNDESA. Project supported by the Swedish
Ministry for Sustainable Development.

SEP is an open web platform to stimulate social conversation on possible sustainable
futures hosting several research activities and didactic workshops. SEP is
an organization and communication tool providing an open web space and visibility
for activities relating to the fields of design and sustainability in the
everyday context. SEP events are placed under the patronage of UNEP United
Nations Environment Program.
