Igor Alexandre Pereira Ramos

Igor Ramos (b. 1991) is PhD Design student at the Aveiro University, where he’s currently developing an investigation related with the history and design of the Portuguese film posters, a research topic which has been his focus since the Master’s thesis. After an internship at Providência design studio, he has worked over the last three years in several design projects in the field of cinema, collaborating with institutions such as the Portuguese Film Academy, film distributor Nitrato Filmes, Cinema Trindade (in Porto) and Luso-Brazillian Film Festival (in Santa Maria da Feira) and ‘Sábado’ magazine, creating posters, visual identities and editorial projects. In 2017 he was awarded one of the first Nico awards, attributed by the Portuguese Film Academy to up-and-coming professionals in Portuguese cinema.
