15th Viana International Film Conference

The Viana International Film Conference is a transdisciplinary event that crosses academic research on education, film, photography and other visual media. Organizing committee members include ID+ Researchers Daniel Maciel (Chair) and Raquel Moreira, and the Conference also includes Frederico Dinis as roundtable and course co-coordinator. Organized in the School of Higher Education of the Viana do Castelo Polytechnic Institute from 6th to 8th of may, it’s an integral part of the Viana Film Meetings Festival. Its 15th edition includes the keynote speeches of Filipa Rosário and Inês (tem) Dias, a Masterclass and Public Class by award-winning documentary film director Tommaso Santambroggio, a PhD project discussion seminar called Work In Progress, a Laboratory for Film Practices in Schools, as well as academic discussion panels and roundtables aimed at researchers and film students.
