ID+ researcher Cláudia Lima has officially joined INTERDEM, the international network of researchers dedicated to psychosocial research and interventions in dementia.
Affiliated with ID+ / Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, Cláudia Lima is an Assistant Researcher whose work lies at the intersection of design, health and wellbeing, cultural memory, community stories and ethnographic approaches.
INTERDEM brings together researchers and practitioners from across Europe and beyond, fostering interdisciplinary research aimed at improving the understanding, support and quality of life of people living with dementia and their families.
Cláudia Lima’s membership strengthens the connection between ID+’s research in design for health and wellbeing and the wider international community working on dementia, care and psychosocial research. It also creates new opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration, bringing design methodologies and perspectives into dialogue with fields including health, psychology, social sciences and care research.
Her participation in the network further reinforces ID+’s commitment to research in which design engages with complex societal challenges and contributes to more inclusive, situated and human-centred approaches to health and wellbeing.
