Hybrid AI Workshop at TUMO Porto

Sunday, 10 May, at 2 PM, Heitor Alvelos will lead a workshop at TUMO Porto exploring hybrid AI-analogue creative processes and their implications for contemporary visual culture and design practice.

Titled “drawings → prompts → photos”, the session proposes an experimental approach to image-making, connecting analogue gestures, prompting methodologies and AI-generated visual outputs.

The workshop will reflect on the evolving relationship between human creativity, machine interpretation and material experimentation, inviting participants to explore emerging hybrid workflows situated between artistic practice, design research and computational culture.

The initiative forms part of the ongoing dialogue around artificial intelligence, visual media and creative experimentation that increasingly shapes contemporary design discourse.
