Currently PhD student in Design at Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Porto (University of Aveiro, UPTEC and ID+) with research funded by FCT. BA in International Business Administration (Oxford Brookes University, London - UK, 2001). MA in Design (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, 2008). Post-graduated in Project Management (Institute of Technological Education, Belo Horizonte - Brazil, 2012).
Over 17 years of experience as project manager, consultant, facilitator and lecturer, implementing social projects that promote socioeconomic, environmental and human rights transformation. Worked in projects related to social design, social entrepreneurship, creative and collaborative communities and economies, solidarity economy and social ecology. Also, related to social pedagogy with emphasis on social management, as well as associative and fraternal economy.
Creator of SOMOS Process - Education for Transformative Social Innovation Projects (www.nuwa.com.br/somos) and founder of Nuwa Project (www.nuwa.com.br/laboratorio).
Interested in teaching design process, sensorial dynamics and experiences, strategic design and design management, with focus on design and spirituality, social design, codesign, decolonization of methodologies and design, transformative communities and economies. In order to support local development, anti-colonial futures, as well as transformative social innovation.
