Manuel António Carneiro Gaspar Albino

Manuel Albino teaches at the School of Design of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave. He is sub-director of the Graphic Design course at the same institution, where he has been a visiting assistant professor since 2008. He teaches in the courses of Graphic and Industrial Design the discipline of Geometry and Projection, of which he is regent. He also teaches in the Master in Illustration and Animation (MIA) the discipline of Visual Narratives, where he has also been a coordinator of master's theses. He participates in different commissions of coordination, seriation, and evaluation, in the same institution.
From 2000 to 2007 he was a graphic and communication designer for PressRelease, Assessoria e Comunicação, based in Porto, where he worked for institutions such as: Porto 2001, European Capital of Culture, Oporto City Hall, Oporto Literary Club, among others.
From 1998 to 2000 he was a graphic and communication designer for ECCE-Design, based in Viseu, where he worked for institutions such as the Viriato Theater and the Viseu City Hall.
In parallel to the professional activity as a designer, he was a high school teacher from 1997 to 2003.
