Fernanda Morais is a researcher at the DHIS (Story Design Laboratory) of the Postgraduate Design Programme of the Department of Arts & Design at PUC-Rio in Brazil. She is completing a 6-month period of research and collaboration at ID+ IPCA, under the guidance of Professors Paula Tavares and Nilton Gamba Jr, through the international research funding programme promoted by CAPES (Brazil).

In order to complete her work at IPCA, the researcher is developing workshops with Illustration students in curricular units supervised by Professors Marta Madureira and Cátia Vidinhas, in bachelor's and master's programmes. The students will develop multicultural projects that cross traditions between Rio de Janeiro and northern Portugal.
