EUROPEAN UNION – ANGOLA DIALOGUES, FCT AND FUNDECIT VISIT ID+ AT THE UNIVERSITY OF AVEIRO
As part of the European Union – Angola Dialogues programme, funding was provided for the initiative “Attractive and sustainable research and development institutions”, to be carried out by FUNDECIT and FCT, public R&D funding agencies in Angola and Portugal, respectively. With this initiative, FUNDECIT and FCT aim to share, analyse and contextualise policies, challenges, knowledge, practices and evaluation processes of R&D institutions. To this end, a workshop was held in Lisbon on 20 October on the theme ‘Evaluation of R&D institutions: European debates and sharing of experiences’, followed by two days dedicated to visiting R&D institutions.
In this context, ID+ was selected as one of the most relevant institutions to visit as part of this initiative. During the visit, which took place on 22 October, we welcomed the FUNDECIT team, accompanied by the FCT team, in the ID+ Multipurpose Room, where we presented our institution, dynamics and experience of evaluation processes.
