Throughout the past editions of the International Meeting, #ART, we have been able to verify
that some of the themes dealt with have been reflections aimed at revealing the complex
political, social and identity relationship, as a way of highlighting artistic thinking. New
concepts emerge which allow us to understand and deepen the theories that are born from
new creative paradigms linked to the symbiosis of systemic, artistic, scientific, technological,
aesthetic, geographic, ecological, communicational and political thinking.
The International Meeting #ART has counted on international partners, such as those
support-ed by the European Union’s cooperation program called “Europe-pays tiers: le
Bresil; whose proposal affirms that art is not indifferent to the tense relationship between
local and global - on the one hand, it is subject to the political, social and economic
constraints of a territory, on the other hand, it is under pressure from the great dimension
of media information and communication technologies.
