The next edition of the Dementia Lab Conference will take place on 13 & 14 March 2025, hosted by the University of Aveiro, Portugal, jointly organised by the Research Units ID+ and CINTESIS@RISE. Established in 2016, the Dementia Lab Conference has been a go-to place for disseminating knowledge and discussing design for and with people with dementia.

This edition invites contributions from researchers, educators, professionals, students of design and dementia care, as well as care partners and people with dementia, through different opportunities for participation: full academic research papers (published by Springer, Open Access), workshops, stories (written, video or poster format), and exhibitions (prototypes/products or posters). PhD students engaged in dementia-related design are encouraged to join the PhD Day on March 12th.
