Graphic reinterpretation of Rosa Ramalho's Figuration by IPCA students with the integration of works from schools in the PNA network in the Municipality of Barcelos.
Initiated as a classroom project and later presented in an exhibition at the Pottery Museum in 2021, with the support of ID+, Suzana Dias' initiative - ReconFIGURADO - now serves as the starting point for a wider action with the students of the National Arts Plan Schools in the municipality of Barcelos with the travelling of part of the original exhibition.
It culminated in the recording of the digital resource - Mochila Cultural (a measure based on the consolidated management of knowledge and cultural experience of wide national dissemination) so that it can be enjoyed by a greater number of citizens and young people. This recording, which took place on 15 May in the auditorium of the Barcelos Municipal Library, will become part of the pedagogical resource bag of the NAP's national programme for more than 500 schools across the country. The event also included a round table discussion and a ‘Figurines of the Future’ pottery workshop and an exhibition at the Barcelos Municipal Library.
The National Arts Plan (PNA) is a mission structure overseen by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education that aims to promote and implement, in an articulated manner, the cultural offer for the educational community and for all citizens, in a logic of lifelong learning, mobilising the power of the arts and heritage for everyone and with everyone.
