The FUSION (Fashion Up Skilling Innovation Open Network) is an international partnership project involving Limerick Institute of Technology (Ireland), ID+ Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (Portugal), Crafts Council (United Kingdom), and Fondazione Santagata per l’Economia della Cultura (Italy), funded by Creative Europe.
The partner Fondazione Santagata was recognized as one of the 20 leading organizations identified by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo in a recent study on best practices for integrating culture and health across northwest Italy. Conducted by the CCW-Cultural Welfare Center in collaboration with DoRS Piemonte and the Piemonte Cultural Observatory, this research highlights the powerful impact of cultural initiatives on community well-being.
FUSION promoted digital skills, supported active aging, and improved quality of life. With masterclasses, residencies, networking events, and business development tools, the initiative expanded digital access, strengthened professional skills, and created new business opportunities.
This recognition reinforces our commitment to integrating culture, innovation, and well-being, motivating us to further develop projects with a lasting impact on communities and regions.
