Cristina Castro (Porto, 1974) is an artist, researcher and curator and teaches at the School of Media Arts and Design, Polytechnic Institute of Porto, and at Portucalense University. She holds a PhD in Contemporary Art from College of Arts, Coimbra University, a master's degree in Museology and Cultural Heritage from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Coimbra and a professional degree in Fine Arts - Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Porto University. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions since 1995. Her work has as its structure the materialization of possibilities of the idea of flow, in drawing and painting, giving visibility to that which, having a presence, is invisible.
