Cristina Coutinho Pereira (1979, Leiria) is a specialist in the scientific field of Communication Design - Specialty Digital Design (2022), by the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave, Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre, with the professional work entitled "Lusa Mater, Design processes in the development of an e-commerce platform".
She holds a degree in Communication Design - Graphic Arts (2006) from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
She is currently working on her Ph.D. at the University of Aveiro. Her thesis is on pedagogical innovation in the context of digital design.
She has been a full-time lecturer in public higher education since January 2022 in the category of Adjunct Guest Lecturer.
She has been teaching at the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (IPCA) since 2016, first at the School of Design (ESD) and later at the Professional Technical School (ETeSP). She is responsible for the Digital Culture, Digital Image, Interface Design I, Interface Design II, Design Project for Digital Media, Audiovisual Project, and Internship curricula for the TeSP courses in Design for Digital Media and Digital Audiovisual.
She is currently Director of the Design and Multimedia Department, Director of the TeSP courses Design for Digital Media, and Digital Audiovisual, and Coordinator of the Multimedia and Digital Interactivity Department.
