Guilherme Santa Rosa

Associate Professor in the Design Department at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).

CNPq Productivity Fellow.

Teaches courses in Cognitive Ergonomics, Information Ergonomics, Ergonomics and Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Accessibility, Interface Design and Usability, and Product and Process Design in the Undergraduate Design programme (UFRN) and in the Postgraduate programmes in Ergonomics (UFPE), Innovation in Educational Technologies (UFRN), Institutional Process Management (UFRN) and Design (UFCG).

He is the leader of the Ergodesign and Human-Computer Interaction research group (UFRN/CNPq).

He coordinates the Ergodesign Laboratory for Interfaces, Usability and User Experience (UFRN), as well as the Research Ethics Committee at the UFRN Central Campus.

He is one of the authors of the book Neurodesign: the Brain and the Machine (2AB, 2021), in addition to other works focused on Ergodesign with an emphasis on Human-Computer Interaction. He is currently doing a postdoctoral internship in the Postgraduate Programme in Neuroscience and Cell Biology (UFPA), which aims to investigate human-computer interaction from the perspective of neurodivergent individuals and the use of Artificial Intelligence in research on Ergonomic Interface Design.

He is editor of the journal Revista dos encontros internacionais de estudos luso-brasileiros em Design e Ergonomia (https://proa.ua.pt/index.php/ergotripdesign/) and one of the general coordinators of the ETD - Ergotrip Design congress, now in its 11th edition.

He is a founding member of RLBDI – Portuguese-Brazilian Network for Design and Innovation.
