José Raimundo is a Guest Adjunct Professor at Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave. With a background in Communication Design He has professional experience of 20+ years as a designer, CAD draftsman, and mentor in several industries and institutions.
He holds a PhD in Digital Media from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, for which he was awarded an FCT scholarship in order to develop his thesis about a Framework for Cultivating Creative Literacy through Games.
He is particularly interested in how playing games can help develop creative literacy and improve learning, and to that end, he researches game design and creativity. He also pursues parallel interests like product concept, game artwork, illustration and sketching, among several of his passions.
