José Manuel da Conceição Raimundo

José Raimundo is an invited assistant professor at the Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave - Escola Superior de Design - in the disciplinary area of audiovisual, teaching computer aided design for producing 2D and 3D digital artwork and animation. He has a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and holds a PhD in Digital Media from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. He has 20 years of professional experience in the areas of design and CAD applied to visualization and production in diverse industries. His activities extend to product design, video game art, illustration, and design. As a researcher, he developed a framework to design and analyse games for cultivating creative literacy - games for augmenting creativity. Currently his research is extending towards virtual production practices in the field of animation using game engines.
