Sérgio Rolando, 1978. He lives in Porto, where he works as a photographer and as a lecturer. He has a Master's degree in Photography and Documentary Film from ESMAE and is studying for a PhD in Artistic Creation. In his work he seeks representation, interpretation and visual construction on the subjects of Landscape, Architecture and Territory. He has received grants from Pépinières Européennes pour jeunes artists (2003), ESMAE (2011) and Instituto Camões (2015/2016). He exhibits regularly in Portugal and abroad, and has published several works.
