Shujoy Chakraborty

Holds a Phd in Design (summa cum laude). His research interests lie in Product Semantics and its application to designing electronic appliances.
Currently he teaches Interaction Design and Product Design at the University of Madeira (UMa) Portugal and also visits as Adjunct Faculty of Industrial Design to the National Institute of Design (NID) India.
He has 2 years experience with Politecnico Di Milano as a Research Fellow and 3 years experience with Whirlpool Europe (Italy) in global product development, global consumer design, and technology advance.
Next Generation Appliances that he has worked on have been showcased in the Future Technologies for Kitchens exhibition in EuroCucina – International Salone del Mobile (Milan).
