Ana Sofia Lopes da Ponte

Sofia Ponte, artist, curator, researcher and assistant professor at IADE - Universidade Europeia, Lisbon, Portugal. Ponte holds a PhD in Art and Design, specialisation in Museum Studies, from the University of Porto, in 2016. Completed her Master of Science in Visual Studies at the School of Architecture and Planning of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in 2008. Ponte has published in journals and web platforms dedicated to the theory and practice of contemporary art. Her research interests include Digital Heritage, New Media Art, Recent Public Art, Art Exhibitions, Art Collections, Digital Curatorship, Women in the Fine Arts.
