Violeta Clemente

Violeta Clemente (born 1978) holds a PhD in Design (awarded in 2023) and a PhD in Education (awarded in 2016). She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, Management, and Production Technologies at Northern Aveiro, University of Aveiro (ESAN). Since 2023, she has been a member of the convening group for the Design Research Society's "Special Interest Group in Design Education (EdSIG)." Her primary research interests include Design and Technology Education, Creativity, Design Thinking, Thinking Skills/Metacognition, and Design Research Methodologies. In addition, she has been involved in research related to Additive Manufacturing, Design for Sustainability and Cultural Heritage.
