Both her Bachelor’s Thesis, Master’s Thesis, and her doctoral research have followed the same path: the dissemination and preservation of Asturian artistic heritage, with the aim of highlighting the various perspectives present in the region. Her doctoral research project is titled: Industry in Art. Landscape, Identity, and Heritage in Contemporary Asturian Creation (1939 – 2020). The proposal aims to analyze the impact that industrial activity has had on contemporary artistic creation in Asturias, incorporating a cross-cutting, interdisciplinary, and gender-based approach, aligned with new research trends focused on the analysis of cultural heritage, its conservation, and protection.
