Prof. Heitor Alvelos (ID+ FBAUP) joins the new leadership team of the European Academy of Design (EAD) as Vice-President, joining Deana McDonagh (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA) in the same capacity and Leon Cruickshank (Lancaster University, UK) as President. The new team is committed to preserving EAD’s welcoming, diverse, rigorous, playful and exploratory culture and will explore both the form and content of future design research conferences that will inform EAD’s programme of events and activities for the next 5 years.
