Education: Bi-stage degree in Heritage Management at the Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico do Porto (2001-2006); Degree in Fine Arts – Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (2008-2012); Master's in Artistic Studies - Museum and Curatorial Studies at the same Faculty (2006-2007, 2012-2013); PhD in Contemporary Art at the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra, with distinction and honor (2017-2021). Scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology (2018-2021). Researcher in the areas of Art Education, Art Practice, Contemporary Art, Cinema and Cultural Heritage, with publications in national and international magazines. Portuguese Coordinator of the International Revitalizing Crafts Project, coordinated by Rachel Mason, Roehampton University, UK.
Professor in the Arts, Design and Humanities area, at the Higher School of Education, at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (ESEVC) since 2016, and at the School of Architecture, Art and Design at the University of Minho, in Guimarães, since 02.2022. Professional activity dedicated to the organization of exhibitions and educational activities, developed as a collaborator of Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery and of Curtas Vila do Conde - International Film Festival for nine years (2006 to 2015), with which she continues to collaborate as a member of the selection commission. He collaborates in the organization of the Cinema Conference that takes place annually at ESEVC, as part of the Viana do Castelo Cinema Meetings, organized by AoNorte.
Plastic artist with regular presentation of her work since 2010, in individual and group exhibitions, in spaces such as Sismógrafo, Galeria do Sol, Casa Tait, Casa do Médico, FBAUP Museum, Kubik Gallery, José Rodrigues Foundation and Serralves Museum (Porto ), Lugar do Desenho (Gondomar), Bienal de Cerveira, College of Arts of the University of Coimbra and Círculo de Artes Plásticas (Coimbra), Zaratan (Lisbon).
