Dr. Sonia Vieira is a design scientist with research interests in identifying variants and invariants of design across disciplines with relevance to the understanding of design cognition and metacognition, design neurocognition, and neuroscience of creativity in design. Her Ph.D., from TuDelft, is about the translation of the Lean Thinking paradigm into design research. She is also an architect who graduated from FAUP, UPorto, and Master in Industrial design, from FEUP, UPorto.
